ALLISON HOBBINS

Thanks for visiting! My name is AlIison, and I am the marketing professional behind AK Designs. I have been in Advertising Communications for several years, working in strategy, graphic design, and more since 2015. I began freelancing in college, and continued into my professional years, creating AK Designs in 2017.

I am originally from Livonia, Michigan, and attended Schoolcraft College in the same city from 2011-2013, graduating with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. I then transferred to Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree. I majored in Communications with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations, and completed a minor in Advertising and Public Relations as well. While in school, I was a member of the Advertising Club, Backpacking Club, Rock Climbing Club, and participated in intramural sports. I also worked remotely for a real estate company on the east side of Michigan.

After finishing my degree, I moved back to the east side of the state to begin my career in advertising. I found a passion for residential construction and real estate while attending Schoolcraft College and GVSU, and I have spent most of my full time career in home building and real estate marketing. Along the way, I have completed projects in education, retail, and the restaurant industry.

My husband, Kris, and I have been together since 2017 and got married in May 2023. We have a Wheaten Terrier mix named Chase that always keeps us on our toes! The three of us live in Lyon Township, where we spend a lot of time outdoors, enjoying the nearby lakes. Most of our summers are spent fishing, camping, and kayaking!

Each day is a new adventure, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
